Recently, Mozambican fashion stylist and musician, Luxury Recycle, was nominated for the Ghana Style Awards, an annual awards show in the fashion world that takes place in Accra, the capital of Ghana.

According to a press release sent to Moz Entretenimento, Recycle competes in the category of International Stylish Icon Of The Year, that is, International Fashion Icon of the Year, and the awards gala will take place in April, in the city of Accra.

It is an award gala that honors several figures in Africa in the entertainment universe. This time, the Mozambican flag will be represented by Luxury Recycle, an artist who was awarded last year at the Odartey Fashion & Style Awards 2021 as Best Fashion Stylist in Africa, in Accra, an event similar to the Ghana Style Awards.

A little bit of the Luxury Recycle journey

Right after the big win at the Odartey Fashion & Style Awards 2021, fashion stylist Luxury RecycLe had the honor of dressing multi-award winning South African artist Kelly Khumalo for her reality show “Life of Kelly Khumalo”, hosted by Showmax – a renowned online channel. -line present on one of the biggest streaming platforms in South Africa.

In this Journey of the reality show, Luxury Recycle dressed the Mozambican singer, Wanda Baloyi and soon after commanded the wardrobe of the video clip by DJ Tárico and Burna Boy, in the new version of the song “Yaba Buluku” that arrived in less than a week. to one million views on YouTube, thus becoming one of the most listened to and watched songs in recent times.

Recycle was also part of an interview with Industry Africa which is the Global Destination for African Luxury Fashion, a portal that talks about big African brands and renowned artists around the world. The interview was attended by Shaazia Adam (Mozambican haute couture designer), Celso Zaqueu (Fashion Photographer), Eliana Murargy (Mozambican international designer residing in Malabo), Tatiana Ismael (Co-founder of Taibo Bacar) and King Levi ( Digital Influencer).

In addition to these achievements, Recycle collaborated with photographer Celso Zaqueu for a photo shoot for his project “Nosso Pleiss”, a digital magazine by photographer Celso Zaqueu. The photo session consisted of putting together looks using only Mozambican brands.

Luxury Recycle is not just about fashion, the artist is also dedicated to music and, in this, works on his project called “Im not a rapper” – an EP that features national and international artists and will be released in coming soon together with a clothing collection from the eponymous brand Luxury Recycle.
